POPCORN SHIRTS

Popcorn Shirts are made by hand in the
Yangtze Valley of China.  The women of rice farming families supplement their family
incomes by making these magical shirts.
Each shirt is hand puckered and each little
pucker is tied with a string. These shirts
are then steamed to stay permanently
puckered, then packed and shipped to America. Amazing!  

Popcorn Shirts are available in many styles from tank tops to cardigans and in sizes to fit everyone:

ORIGAMI SHIRTS

These shirts are available in Solid and Two-Tone.

Origami Shirts are made in a multi step
process requiring both skilled hand work
and a high pressure steam machine.
The shirts are made extra large, then
"shrunk by hand" as the flower pattern
is tied repetitively across the body of the
shirt. The shirts are then pressed and steamed and if the shirts are two-tone, a second layer of color is transferred onto the shirts. The result is a stunning work of art!

MINI PLEAT TOPS AND SKIRTS

Mini Pleat Tops and Skirts are produced with our high pressure steam pleater. The tight pleating remains tight on smaller bodies but spreads wider to accommodate larger bodies. In fact, these Mini Pleat tops and bottoms look great on all bodies. They are exceptionally comfortable and forgiving in all the right spots. The skirts are made with our "Magic Waistband", the softest, most comfortable waistband we've ever found. Comfort from top to bottom! What could be better for travel and every day?

MAGIC CRUSH TOPS AND SKIRTS

Magic Crush Tops and Skirts are produced with our high pressure steam fabric crusher. Enormous pressure and steam create an attractive vertical imprint on these garments while it simultaneously "shrinks" them to fit a range of sizes. the tops hang properly on all body types by "sucking in" at the right spots and "hanging loose" in the places that need a bit more room. The skirts have our "Magic Waistband" to provide comfort all day long. Chalk up another miracle for the Magic Team!
